Eireene Nealand

Eireene Nealand has been a chauffer in New Orleans, gardener in San Francisco, restaurant reviewer in Los Angeles, and mosquito fodder in Louisville. She has stories, poems and translations published in ZYZZYVA, WHR, Absent, elimae, the St. Petersburg Review, and Fourteen Hills, among other places. A chapbook, Shadows and Doubts, is forthcoming form eohippus. Eireene currently lives in Santa Cruz, where she soon hopes to finish her Ph.D. in literature.
