Monica Regan

Monica Regan is a San Francisco-based writer and visual artist, currently completing an MFA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in New American Writing, 26: A Journal of Poetry and Poetics, Parthenon West Review, The Big Ugly Review, and Digital Artifact, among others. Monica's 2009 multimedia exhibition “document” — a culmination of a three month artists’ residency at the San Francisco dump — juxtaposed text, image and sound in an exploration of the American past and our future trajectory. Her photographs have exhibited in shows at the Lincart Gallery in San Francisco, Seed Corn Gallery in Berkeley, and San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. She is from San Francisco, and has been secretly paid to insert the words San Francisco as many times as possible in this bio.
